GOP Governor Vows: Fleeing Dems Will Pay Ultimate Price

Texas Democrats recently staged a walk-out, absconding their duties as lawmakers and failing the people that elected them. The group of losers boarded a private plan for Washington D.C. to protest the recent advancement of an election integrity bill that would bolster election security, require voter ID, and issue other challenges to Democrat cheating tactics.

Republican Governor Greg Abbott is having none of it, and vowed to take swift action against the Dem lawmakers as soon as they return to the Lone Star State.

“As soon as they come back in the state of Texas, they will be arrested, they will be cabined inside the Texas Capitol until they get their job done,” Abbott stated. “Everybody who has a job must show up to do that job, just like your viewers on watching right now. State representatives have that same responsibility.”

Abbott enabled the new Speaker in the Texas House of Representatives to issue a call in order to have the absconding Democrat lawmakers arrested upon their return home from the nation’s Capitol.

State Rep. Dade Phelan, who was elected speaker on January 12, 2021, demanded all members of Congress return to their posts to fulfill the duties expected of them — or else.

The Texas Governor vowed to keep pressing the Democrat evaders until the election integrity bill, which advanced through the chambers of Congress, has seen a vote. He promised to “call a special session after special session after special session all the way up until election next year.”

He issued a grave warning to the Democrats who decided to evade their duties and flee the state:

“And so if these people want to be hanging out wherever they’re hanging out on this taxpayer-paid junket, they’re going to have to be prepared to do it for well over a year.”

On Monday, pictures showing several smiling, maskless, Democrats aboard a plane went viral, causing mass hysteria on both sides of the aisle. The Democrats weaponized race in an effort to justify their dereliction of duty, claiming the new election security law is a means to prevent black Americans from voting. A total and complete lie parroted by media operatives and Democrats nationwide.

Abbott repeated his intentions for signing an election security law, stating the entire point is to prevent cheating using mail-in-ballots and to ensure more streamlined and secure voting systems. The law provides more hours to vote than it does in Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware. They offer zero early voting days in that state. So if Democrats wish to wax dramatic about voter suppression, why aren’t they doing so in Delaware? What is the focus on Texas and on Georgia? Is it perhaps nothing but a cynical power-grab in an effort protect their election cheating tactics? We think so..
