GOP Governor Proves America Still Has a Place For The Boys In Blue

Last year, Democrats nearly destroyed their cities and communities with an idiotic plan to defund police departments. Police budgets were slashed, leading to the many cops leaving the force. The unsurprising result of that has been surges in crime across America.

It seems like these leftists have learned their lesson. These days, even more cops are poised to lose their jobs, as deranged governors, mayors, and city councils demand they get vaccinated. Democrats are violating Americans’ rights by forcing government workers to get a medical treatment some do not trust.

This has already led to a new exodus of cops from liberal states. And Republicans see a golden opportunity. Arizona has already been scooping up scores of cops from Washington. And now, Florida’s Ron DeSantis has a brilliant idea.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) said Sunday that his state is “actively working to recruit out of state law enforcement” as some lose their jobs due to COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

DeSantis told Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” that he’s hoping to sign legislation in the next legislative session that will give a $5,000 bonus to out-of-state law enforcement officials who relocate to Florida.

“In Florida, not only are we going to want to protect the law enforcement and all the jobs, we’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement because we do have needs in our police and our sheriffs’ departments,” DeSantis said. [Source: Just the News]

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is planning on signing legislation soon that will provide a $5,000 bonus to require cops who are losing their jobs in liberal states. He expressed the state has the need for more cops, as any states do. And he is jumping on the opportunity to hire experienced officers who have been forced out of their jobs by leftist mandates.

States like California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, and New York have been demanding state and local government employees get vaccinated. If they don’t, many have been put on unpaid leave. Some have already been fired. In New York, a mandate for all medical workers has been floating around for months. Although it has been challenged in court, thousands of medical workers have already lost their jobs—triggering a health care crisis.

It’s insane that Democrats thought they could force Americans to get vaccinated, and we’d just go along with it. After abusing their power all last year with lockdowns and mask mandates, did they really think we’d just let them take more from us? Democrat states will be left with nothing. Medical workers, blue- and white-collar employees, cops, and more will be fleeing. Other folks will leave just because life in a liberal state has become intolerable.

Meanwhile, Republican states will thrive, thanks to sensible leadership and hard-working citizens. You’d think whoever’s left in Democrat states would bother to pay attention and start voting likewise.

But somehow, we doubt they’ll open their eyes.
