Former White House Physician ‘Not Opposed’ to Sending Fauci to Jail

Millions of Americans rejoiced when Anthony Fauci announced his retirement. But some suspected Fauci was trying to get out–before he could be held accountable for his years in government work. Numerous Republicans have demanded answers from this doctor. But until now, he has been protected by Democrats.

That might change after November. If Republicans retake Congress, they can launch investigations into Fauci’s work–especially his role in the creation of COVID-19. And former White House physician and current congressman, Ronny Jackson, is dropping the hammer on old Fauci.

Jackson, who served as physician to the president for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, argued that Fauci did a lot of “damage” to the United States with his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I want to know what he knew about COVID and when he knew it. I want to know what really happened with this gain of function testing,” Jackson outlined. “Our own NIH — that he was in charge of the money and the grant money that was flowing out of their — our own NIH funded the Wuhan lab who was basically building this virus that, you know, that just devastated the planet. And I think that Dr. Fauci needs to explain to us why they changed some of their internal rules and regulations to allow this gain of function testing to be done.”

Rep. Jackson raised plenty of questions about Fauci’s role in the development of COVID-19. He had a hand in the NIH funding that went to Wuhan. Jackson accused him of changing “internal rules and regulations” within the agency to allow gain of function testing.

But that’s not what’s really getting Jackson’s goat. He is outraged that Fauci “lied” to Congress and the American people during the pandemic. And for that, he wants the man to go to jail.

Jackson claimed Fauci oversaw a “cover-up” of the pandemic. It is well known that Fauci lied at the beginning of the outbreak, discouraging Americans from buying face masks. He was also the most-vocal leader advocating for lockdowns across the country–even though we learned lockdowns did nothing to “slow the spread.”

Fauci has long since lost his credibility among most Americans. He has become an icon from the liberal media, who used his “doom and gloom” claims to spread hysteria over the virus. His retirement means we will soon not have to deal with his claims ever again.

But Jackson and a slew of other Republicans are not ready to let the man just retire. If Republicans have their way, Fauci will face the music for what he’s done.
