Fauci Thinks Americans Are Stupid – Rand Paul Makes Him Regret It

The feud between Republican Sen. Rand Paul and Anthony Fauci has been well-documented for months. While the media might make Paul appear like a renegade, an anti-science hack who hates Fauci only, the truth is Paul is expressing the views of millions of Americans.

Americans are tired of this Fauci guy talking down to us on a daily basis. Time and again, his predictions have been proven wrong. And on more than one occasion, he’s been caught in outright lies. Even more damning have been recently revealed emails, that suggest Fauci just might be the worst person to guide us on the pandemic.

Paul has been quick to call out these many issues with Fauci. And, in a recent interview, he explained why this so-called expert shouldn’t be trusted.

“I really don’t think it’s him making money personally,” [Sen. Paul] said. “I think it’s this — it’s one-size-fits-all and his idea that the regular people aren’t smart enough to make these regular decisions. So he just wants to treat everybody the same. The one-size-fits-all strategy that everybody must get vaccinated ignores the science. It’s mostly that he’s not telling the truth once again because he is an elitist, and he thinks we can’t handle the truth…

“It’s really just a disservice to the public. The main thing about the mask when he said they didn’t work at all was he didn’t want people buying the N95 masks and the people in the hospital, the doctors not having enough. So he just admits that he lied, but it was a lie for our own good, supposedly.” [Source: Breitbart]

The senator roasts Fauci by calling him an “elitist” who looks down on regular Americans. Paul says Fauci doesn’t think Americans are “smart enough” to make our own decisions on masks and the vaccine. So, Fauci pushes a “one-size-fits-all” policy, requiring all Americans (regardless of risk factors) to employ the same tactics.

Imagine a doctor treating a 16-year-old the same as an 80-year-old? I’m no doctor, but even I know the health risks between a teenager and old man are very different. Yet during this pandemic, Fauci (and the mindless government leaders that followed him) claimed the same measures should be used for the young as well as the old. That, of course, led to devastating consequences in our society.

Paul says Fauci did this because he thinks we’re too stupid to come to our own decisions. While we can’t prove that decisively, we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true. Leaders on the left pretty much think that way about Americans, on nearly every issue. The rise of the Nanny State, big government, and constant welfare handouts is rooted in the leftist idea that Americans can’t take care of themselves.

We need Big Brother to provide our health care, food, clothing, housing, and even our paychecks. We can’t learn on our own, think on our own, or make our own decisions. The federal government—run by Democrats—need to interfere on nearly every issue facing American families.

That was certainly true last year, when states forcefully lockdown down schools, churches, and businesses. They couldn’t trust Americans to socially distance themselves, so they did it for us!

How did that work out for everybody?

Perhaps we need to pay attention to people like Sen. Paul more and less to folks like Fauci.
