Elon Musk’s response to the Cybertruck explosion near President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel perfectly highlights the difference between problem-solvers and the knuckleheads who can’t seem to think three steps ahead. Musk’s reaction to this bizarre incident was as sharp as ever, calling the attackers “evil knuckleheads” who “picked the wrong vehicle.” And he wasn’t kidding.
This so-called act of terrorism might have been far worse if not for the Cybertruck’s futuristic design. Its sturdy build reportedly absorbed the explosion and directed the blast upwards, leaving the Trump hotel’s glass doors intact. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill confirmed that the Cybertruck essentially contained the blast, limiting the damage and saving lives. Musk later added that Tesla’s telemetry data showed everything was functioning properly up until the moment of the explosion.
The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

Of course, the timing of this incident is worth noting. Just hours earlier, another terrorist attack in New Orleans left 15 dead after a driver mowed down revelers, reportedly with an ISIS flag attached to the truck’s hitch. And while the FBI is investigating whether these events are connected, what’s clear is that America is facing serious threats from bad actors, both foreign and domestic. Yet the current administration would rather pander to activists and lecture about “climate justice” than focus on national security.
Musk’s Cybertruck, designed with SpaceX’s rocket-grade stainless steel, proved its mettle under circumstances no one could have predicted. The Democrats should take notes: this is what preparedness and ingenuity look like. Meanwhile, the left’s policies continue to prioritize symbolism over safety, leaving Americans vulnerable to real threats.
President Trump’s response to the incident is no surprise. He remains busy preparing to lead a nation in need of strength and solutions. The Cybertruck explosion and the New Orleans attack are stark reminders of the threats we face—and the need for leaders who prioritize security, and American lives above all else.
