Deport Democrats? DeSantis Says YES

Florida’s no-nonsense Republican Governor Ron DeSantis isn’t holding back, and he’s got every right to be furious. In a bold and justified response, he’s calling for drastic measures against Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar.

After Omar’s recent outrageous speech, where she seemingly put Somali interests ahead of American ones, DeSantis is making it clear that enough is enough. He’s not just suggesting we kick her out of Congress – he’s going all in: “Expel her from Congress, denaturalize and deport!”

It’s about time someone stood up to this kind of betrayal. Omar, who’s supposed to represent Minnesota in Congress, was caught red-handed in a speech to Somali leaders, spewing words that would make any patriotic American’s blood boil. Speaking in Somali, she didn’t bother to mention her commitment to the U.S. Instead, she brazenly declared she’s “Somalian first, Muslim second.” And get this – she has the audacity to say she’s in Congress to “protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system.” This is a slap in the face to every American, especially those who trusted her enough to vote for her.

DeSantis’s reaction hits the nail on the head. This isn’t just about party lines; it’s about national loyalty and integrity. Omar’s words were a blatant disregard of her duty as a U.S. Congresswoman. It’s as if she’s forgotten who she’s supposed to serve. And her claim about safeguarding Somalia’s sea? That’s not her job! She’s supposed to be serving Minnesotans and Americans, not playing politics with foreign interests.

And it’s not just DeSantis who’s outraged. Other lawmakers are speaking out too. Georgia’s firebrand Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer have also condemned Omar’s remarks. Emmer didn’t mince words, calling her comments a “direct violation of her oath of office” and demanding her resignation.

Omar’s defense is weak at best. She’s trying to play the victim, accusing others of propaganda and praying for their sanity. But we see right through it. Her priorities are clear, and they don’t align with serving the American people.

DeSantis’s call to “expel her from Congress, denaturalize and deport!” is more than justified. It’s a wake-up call. Omar’s actions are a betrayal of the very essence of American democracy. If she’s more interested in representing Somali interests, maybe it’s time she did that from Somalia, not the halls of the U.S. Congress. This isn’t just a party issue – it’s about the core values of our nation, and DeSantis is standing up for them.
