One of the most touching moments of the night came when Trump honored a young boy battling cancer, making him an honorary Secret Service agent in recognition of his incredible bravery. This was a moment of inspiration, of recognizing a child’s strength in the face of suffering. Everyone should have been able to rally behind it—but not the Democrats.

Her parents sat in the audience, grief-stricken, as the president called for justice and secure borders to prevent more American families from suffering the same fate. What did Democrats do? They sat stone-faced—because acknowledging Riley’s death would mean admitting that Biden’s open-border policies have real, tragic consequences.

It was reminiscent of past disgraceful moments—like when Democrats refused to applaud Trump’s calls for low unemployment, record job creation, and rising wages during his first term. They don’t want success, they want control. And they’ll sit through the most moving, heartfelt moments to prove it.
The American people saw what happened Tuesday night. They saw a Republican Party standing for American heroes while the Democrats sat in bitter defiance. It’s a simple message: Trump fights for the people, and the left refuses to acknowledge them.
Democrats had a choice—to stand for American heroes or to sit in petty protest. They chose the latter. And Americans won’t forget it.
