Democrats Panic as Odds for Winning 2022 Dwindle

Despite what the left might claim, 2020 was a disaster for Democrats. They lost seats in the House, could not gain a real majority in the Senate, and in many crucial swing states, Republicans gained legislative majorities. All that has set the stage for 2022, when Republicans have a massive advantage.

Experts already predicted it would be unlikely that Democrats could hold onto their majority in the House. They only have a five-seat advantage over Republicans now. And the odds are building against them. Especially when you factor in the many Democrats retiring at the end of this term.

So far, 13 Democrats have decided to officially call it quits on the House, leaving their seats open for a competitive fight and giving Republicans a chance to gain another seat. Thirteen seats that are up for grabs. Without an incumbent defending the seat, Republicans have that much more advantage. Add that to the many vulnerable seats in red and swing districts, Republicans are on good footing. And that’s not even considering the fact that Republican state leaders are redrawing congressional maps as we speak, ensuring the left have even fewer options open to them.

What makes matters worse is the fact that, with control over the federal government, Democrats have been crashing and burning. The country is in tatters when it should be thriving. It’s not taking much for Americans to realize they were better off with Trump (even during a pandemic) than they are with Biden and his party during “recovery.”

And Democratic strategists are starting to get very nervous.

One senior Democratic congressional aide told [the Hill], “To be blunt, I’m not feeling good about where we are. Look, it was never going to be easy or anything. It was always kind of contingent on what got done. I just think we’re starting to see how fragile this is.”…

“Democrats have virtually no room for error in 2022. Republicans need to flip only five seats in the House to recapture control of the lower chamber, and they stand to benefit right off the bat from redistricting in key states and the historical maxim that the party of a new president tends to lose ground in midterm elections.” [Source: Breitbart]

But even if they do get it done, they are most likely doomed. It won’t take long before Biden’s spending further derails the economy, much like his “stimulus” from earlier in the year. Americans who are already upset will become downright vengeful, as Biden’s agenda destroys jobs, takes food off their tables, and plunders their bank accounts.
