CDC Reopens Vaccine Safety Probe: Long Overdue Questions

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is finally doing something it should have done years ago. A new group, called the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), is taking a hard look at the COVID-19 vaccines. This committee is made up of experts, including doctors and scientists, and they’re going to dig into how safe and effective these shots really are. They’ll also review how long the vaccine materials stay in your body and what kind of side effects they might cause.

Now, for those of us who’ve served, we know what it means to trust your team and your equipment. But we also know that when something doesn’t seem right, you don’t just ignore it. You investigate. That’s what this new committee is finally doing. After years of being told the shots were safe and effective without question, we’re now seeing the government, under new leadership, actually start asking the tough questions.

One of the big concerns being looked into is the mRNA technology used in the vaccines. These vaccines use a piece of genetic material called mRNA to teach your body to fight the virus. Lipid nanoparticles help deliver the mRNA into your cells. But studies have now found that both the mRNA and the spike protein it creates can stick around in your body longer than we were told. That raises big questions about what kind of long-term effects these materials might have.

They’re also looking into possible impurities in the vaccines. That includes things like leftover DNA or other materials that might have gotten into the shots during production. In the military, if there’s even a hint something is off with your gear, you stop and check it out. That’s how you keep people safe. This should be no different.

Another major issue being reviewed is the impact of repeated booster shots. Many Americans were told to keep getting boosters, sometimes just months apart. But now, experts are worried that too many shots could actually weaken the immune system instead of strengthening it. That’s not just bad science—it’s a betrayal of public trust.

Let’s not forget the people who were forced to take these shots to keep their jobs, including service members, healthcare workers, and first responders. Many were told they had no choice. Some got sick. Others had heart problems or other serious side effects. The CDC now admits that heart inflammation is a known issue, but for years, folks raising these concerns were silenced or mocked.

The new head of this review group is Retsef Levi, a professor from MIT. He has already called for stopping the Pfizer and Moderna shots due to safety concerns. That takes guts in today’s world, and it shows he’s willing to speak the truth, no matter how unpopular it might be in certain circles.

This whole effort started after Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving as Health Secretary, replaced the old CDC advisory panel. He brought in new members who aren’t afraid to ask hard questions. He also took a big step by ending the CDC’s recommendation for COVID shots in healthy children and pregnant women.

Another member of the group is Dr. Robert Malone, one of the early voices criticizing the way these vaccines were pushed. He’s said that just being allowed to ask these questions is progress. And he’s right. We’re finally starting to see some accountability.

This review is long overdue, and it’s needed now more than ever. Americans deserve the truth about what went into their bodies. Those who were harmed deserve answers. And those of us who served know that leadership means protecting your people, not forcing them to take risks without consent.

The next ACIP meeting is set for later this summer, with another one in October. We’ll be watching closely. Because when freedom and safety are on the line, silence is not an option. It’s time to stand up, speak out, and get to the bottom of this.
