In light of the fact that President Biden has not yet visited East Palestine, Ohio, Republican contender for the Ohio Senate Bernie Moreno claimed on Breitbart News this week that Biden “does not care about white working-class American people.”
Moreno talked to Washington Bureau Chief for Breitbart News, Matthew Boyle, after Biden didn’t go to the town affected by the deadly train accident in February.
Breitbart News said this past week that Biden flew right over East Palestine after saying in March that he would go there.
Boyle said that soon after the crash, former President Trump came to see what had happened.
Moreno said that Biden doesn’t care about the white middle class and that most of Ohio’s political elites have departed the state.
“Now let’s simply put it straight: Joe Biden has no concern about white working-class American citizens,” Moreno told Breitbart News this week. “He couldn’t care less about a part of America that the political leaders have left behind. In 1948, six out of the 14 richest towns in the country were in Ohio, but currently we are barely among the top 50.”
This past week, Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance wrote an opinion piece for the Columbus Dispatch. “Sometimes all it takes to be a leader is to show up. In the event a disaster kills a lot of people in an American town, the commander-in-chief needs to be there in person to let them know that the whole country is behind them.”
While Vance’s proposal, the Railway Safety Act, moves forward in Congress, Biden along with Norfolk Southern, according to Vance, has to “double” their efforts to provide relief to the people of East Palestine.
Moreno stated that more American businesspeople as well as entrepreneurs desperately need to head to Washington, DC.
He said, “We really need to be sending outsiders.”
Moreno also talked about his five-point plan to stop people from using the court system against Trump as a tool.
- Start the process of removing Joe Biden from office.
- Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland should be impeached for being unfit.
- Use the power to spend to make sure that public money isn’t used to arm the government against political threats.
- Stop moving Biden’s left-wing judge choices through the Senate.
- Back Sen. J.D. Vance’s (R-OH) plan to stop all Justice Department appointments and advancements.
