According to reports, one of the My Son Hunter producers has filed an ethical complaint to the State Counsel of CA against Hunter Biden’s lawyer Kevin Morris, saying that the attorney infiltrated the film set as a documentary film producer to spy for his client.
Producer Phelim McAleer said Kevin Morris used a private plane to travel to Serbia in Nov. to film the Hunter Biden movie while pretending to be a freelance documentary filmmaker creating content for “South Park streaming” in the complaint, which was first published by the New York Post.
According to the complaint, “Hunter Biden’s attorney Kevin Morris used dishonesty and deception to spy on a movie production about his client in order to obtain material to benefit his client.”
“He concealed the fact that he was really Mr. Biden’s attorney in order to gain such access using deception. For his cover, Mr. Morris pretended to be a documentary filmmaker while actually working as an investigator for Mr. Hunter Biden.”
According to the complaint, Morris met with McAleer for an hour in a café in Belgrade and was then given complete access to the set for numerous days. Morris spoke with McAleer and co-producer Ann McElhinney for over four hours of interviews.
“I have worked as a journalist for 30 years, and I have never come across an attorney that acted in such an unethical way. This wasn’t some impulsive fraud.” According to McAleer’s lawsuit, “the deceit was planned out and executed over a number of days.”
According to a source close to Morris, who has also been called Hunter’s “sugar brother” and one of his “lawyers and trusted mentors,” said the ethics complaint “will not go anywhere,” advising McAleer “you need to go climb back under the rock you emerged from.” Morris once loaned Hunter as much as $2.8 million to pay off a tax bill.
In response, McAleer told The Washington Post that he had been “glad to let the California State Bar deal with the gross ethics violations, but now I can see Kevin Morris and his crew have progressed from lying to threatening. Although disturbing, this is not unexpected.”
