When Joe Biden “won” the presidential election, one of the things leftists celebrated was the election of Kamala Harris.
The unimpressive woman was propped up as some kind of future leader of the country. That’s a bit of a stretch for a former presidential candidate who couldn’t scare up more than 2% support during the primaries. Even her own state of California gave her only 7% support.
Despite the left’s confidence in this former senator, Harris has been a bigger failure than Biden. The few tasks she’s been given, she’s done nothing with. The border crisis, something Joe dumped in her lap, continues to rage.
And when all hell broke loose in Afghanistan, Harris apparently went MIA. She has offered no leadership or encouragement for the American people. Now, it seems the administration is keeping her shelved on purpose.

“They had a minority, they had a woman, and now that they don’t need her, they have her shelved,” said Fox News’ Will Cain.
Harris’ approval numbers appear to be plummeting even faster than Biden’s, which are now underwater. Harris, however, according to the Real Clear Politics average, is now looking at a favorability rating of just 41.8%, with an unfavorability rating of 48.8%. [Source: Just the News]
Will Cain’s assessment of the Harris situation is brutal, but it must not be far from the truth.
In a time of crisis, the president and vice president are needed to keep the country with a steady hand. Biden, we know, can’t steady a bath toy. It should fall to his right-hand-woman to step in and assist.
But Harris has done just about nothing during this unprecedented failure. She made a few remarks, stood behind him I think once, then nothing.
It seems like the administration only needed her during the election, just to get minority and women voters on their side. Since the start of this term, she has done very little to show she is a real leader. The fact that Biden is not relying on her to do anything right now is very telling.
It probably had to do with the fact that Americans like her less than Biden himself. Biden’s numbers are the worst we’ve seen for a Democrat president in a long time. But Harris is the least likable VP since Al Gore, when such polls were started.
Americans just aren’t impressed with this woman. And the administration knows they can’t turn around that bad opinion. So, they are keeping her under wraps, much as they did with Biden during the election.
Do they think they can keep her hidden long enough until she’s useful again in 2024? Do they really think this dud will be able to wow anyone in an election?
