In a major blow to the country he purports to lead, Joe Biden is hellbent on Building China Back Better.
The cognitively deficient president failed to mention the burning fact in his Monday meeting with President Xi.
Never once did Biden press his Chinese counterpart on the origins of COVID-19, which leaked from a Wuhan lab funded by Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Health.
As the two world leaders attempted to lower the temperature and fix broken relations, it was obvious the closely watched, three hour meeting was going nowhere. Each side failed to mention the issues which directly effect its people, like the origins of COVID-19 or the growing military tensions.
The talks appeared to yield no immediate outcomes, but gave the two leaders opportunity to nudge their relations away from icy confrontation.
They discussed North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, global energy markets, trade and competition, climate, military issues, the pandemic, and other areas where they frequently disagree.
Xi, who has not left his country since COVID-19 spread worldwide nearly two years ago, compared the two countries to “two giant ships sailing in the sea” that needed to be steadied so they didn’t collide, Chinese state media reported.
Biden spoke of avoiding conflict with China at all costs, making the United States appear weak.
“It seems to me our responsibility as leaders of China and the United States is to ensure that our competition between our countries does not veer into conflict, whether intended or unintended,” Biden said.

In his opening remarks, Xi made a subtle power move, calling his U.S. counterpart an “old friend,” a phrase the White House quickly rebuffed.

Meanwhile, China is lagging in a commitment to buy $200 billion more in U.S. goods and services, but Chinese officials said Xi told Biden that it was important to avoid politicizing the issue.
Witnesses to the meeting claim Biden raised other issues that Beijing regards as its domestic concern, including its handling of Tibet, Hong Kong and Xinjiang, where China’s policies face frequent censure by foreign rights groups.
Never once was COVID-19 – the virus that caused a global pandemic – mentioned by the American President.
