Wisteguens Jean Quely Charles racked up 17 convictions in Massachusetts in a two-year span — assault and battery on a public employee, drug trafficking, carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying ammunition without a firearm ID — and when ICE agents finally came for the illegal alien gangbanger he had one thing to say on camera.

Charles, a Haitian national and confirmed member of the Back Block Money Gang, entered the United States in 2013 under the Obama administration and was granted Temporary Protected Status. That status was revoked in 2022. He stayed anyway. By the time federal agents put him in handcuffs in Boston, his rap sheet read like a criminal justice bingo card: assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of Class D controlled substances, possession of Class C psychedelic mushrooms, resisting arrest, and trespassing. Seventeen-plus convictions, all inside two years, all in Massachusetts.
The arrest went viral. Charles screamed "I'm not going back to Haiti!" while cameras rolled. The footage circulated across social media for weeks — a gangbanger with a mile-long record, living freely in the United States on a revoked immigration status, shouting threats at the sitting president on his way to the squad car.
He went back to Haiti.
Charles was deported on September 10, 2026, on a flight originating from Louisiana — 19 months after his arrest. According to federal officials, he was combative on the plane, making profane and threatening remarks about President Trump and his family the entire flight. The mouth never stopped. The plane kept flying.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin confirmed the deportation: "This illegal alien gang member from Haiti had quite the rap sheet, with convictions for assault and battery on a public employee, resisting arrest, and drug trafficking, among other heinous crimes."
Charles entered under Obama-era TPS protections originally designed as temporary humanitarian relief for Haitians. "Temporary" covered thirteen years. His status was revoked in 2022, which means for three years before ICE picked him up, Charles was an illegal alien with an active criminal career and no legal basis to remain in the country. Nobody came knocking until 2025.
The government finally did something about it last week. It just took 19 months, one deportation flight out of Louisiana, and a Back Block Money Gang member who couldn't stop yelling long enough to notice the plane was already in the air.
