AOC Commits The Ultimate Hypocrisy, And She’s Very Proud Of It

Who is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? I mean, really? The woman got media attention way back in 2018, when she promised to abolish ICE. She won her congressional race with that bogus promise, but has gone on to do nothing.

Touting herself as a “democratic socialist” she pretends to care about progressive causes. But when investigators peel back her façade, we find someone that knows absolutely nothing about government or the economy, cares more about media attention than her own supporters, and might be guilty of campaign finance violations.

The puzzle that is AOC only became more complicated this week, when she appeared at a Met Gala. While attending an event that cost $30,000 a ticket, she wore a dress that said “Tax the Rich.”

Yeah, okay.

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) faced intense backlash and mockery online on Monday evening after attending the Met Gala, an event where individual tickets reportedly cost $30,000, in a designer dress that stated, “Tax The Rich.”…

“Then there are the tables, typically bought by brands and fashion houses. These reportedly start at $275,000.”…

Ej Dickson, senior writer at Rolling Stone, tweeted: “Am I the only one who thinks this is really f***ing stupid[?] 1) The dress is ugly, 2) She’s at a $35k per person event and this isn’t nearly the own she thinks it is. 3) The dress is ugly. I mean I love her but come on this is so dumb. Peak girl boss s**t.”…

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) tweeted: “I’m not even mad at the lack of self awareness or hypocrisy anymore. At this point it’s just hilarious. These people are a giant joke.” [Source: Daily Wire]

I think at this point we need to be honest and say AOC is not the person she says she is. She failed in the business world, so she’s using politics to become rich and famous. She’s clearly not interested in real socialism—that’s just a crutch used to get attention and bamboozle voters. This girl is all about the prestige her flimsy position gives her. Socialism? What’s that? Oh, just a clever thing to say as she sips champagne with the folks from Vogue magazine.

A real socialist wouldn’t be caught dead at an event like that. Bernie Sanders might be a grumpy old idiot who loves the USSR more than the USA, but he’s no hypocrite. He means what he says. And he wouldn’t pay $30,000 to attend an event to “own” the rich fashion elite.

Did AOC think she was really sending a message to that crowd? Of course, not. She was desperately eager to win their approval, knowing they didn’t care about her silly dress. But she thought her braindead supporters online would think this was such a brilliant move.

But being woke doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want, as long as you have “Tax the Rich” on your dress. Eventually, voters will expect you to do something to help them. AOC has done nothing. She is a failure who gets away with this nonsense, because the media protects her.

Normally, this would ruin a politician’s reputation. This is AOC, however. And her supporters are idiots.
