A member of the San Francisco reparations advising group allegedly stated recently in a segment with the Telegraph that the “straight white men are actually serial killers” and “they’re the ones that have been shooting up schools.”
The Telegraph reported this past week that Nikcole Cunningham, one of the fifteen people who are part of the San Francisco reparations panel, believes heterosexual white males are a “danger to society.”
Even if they are “privileged,” straight white males, according to Cunningham, have “a great deal of s*** wrong, and I state that due to the fact that not only are straight white guys abusive, heterosexual white men are in fact, serial killers.”
“They have the most serial murderers, according to the shows I watch. Right, the people shooting up classrooms are straight white guys,” she added. “Therefore, they pose a threat to society. Not every one of them.”
For “posing more of a threat than backing and assistance” in regard to reparations, Cunningham further chastised white males.
White folks, she said, “got to reflect on their ancestors… are the ones who had been standing around here dressed in their Sunday finest watching black people hanging and burning.”
Cunningham encouraged individuals to “come to grips concerning their ancestry” and also “make amends.”
Despite the fact that slavery was never allowed in San Francisco or California, she said in an interview with The Telegraph that “white superiority has been ingrained in the genetic makeup of this nation and definitely within this city.”
The May 2021-established reparations committee for San Francisco advocated providing each black citizen $5 million in addition to full debt forgiveness. Residents are required to be no less than 18 years old and have shown their race as black or African-American for at least 10 years on official documents in order to qualify, according to the committee.
The committee further specified that candidates had to fulfill two of eight additional requirements, such as being a personal or direct descendant of someone who was enslaved prior to 1865 or having been born or relocating to San Francisco from 1940 through 1996 with documentation of residency for at least 13 years.
This week, the committee’s draft report was distributed to city council members.
The Hoover Institution, a right-leaning research group, calculated that the committee’s reparations proposal would cost the city almost $175 billion.
The annual budget for San Francisco currently stands at $14 billion.
Cunningham recommended charging “water, trash, Pacific Gas and Electric, internet access, and cable” to fund the expenses, which are expected to total $600,000 on average for each non-African-American family.
Cunningham asserted, “If you add even $0.05 to all of those things, you end up with millions and millions perhaps even billions of dollars. But who is going to declare that I am not going to provide those folks compensation, I’ll cut my water off? The fact that you’ve got to use these things? Nobody.”
She continued, saying, “Nobody ever asked us, ‘Hey, Nikcole, can we as a nation send all of this money over to Ukraine?’” She then contrasted the price of reparations with the $100 billion in military aid provided to Ukraine by the Biden administration. “They immediately sent the money after finding it.”
