Any disgruntled Democrat who tells you teachers should not carry a concealed weapon if he/she chooses is complacent with the murder of innocent school children, plain and simple.
There’s really no other conclusion one can devise if Democrats remain so hellbent on making teachers and school children moving targets for crazed gunmen.
It’s not as if the American public agrees with them. In fact, most believe teachers should be armed and properly trained as an added security measure that could prevent another mass shooting.
In the aftermath of last week’s Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, a poll conducted by the Trafalgar Group, in conjunction with Convention of States Action, found that 57.5% of likely 2022 general election voters believe schools are somewhat or much more dangerous without teachers who carry a gun and are properly trained in using it.
The poll’s consensus was bipartisan, with 67.5% of Republicans and 48.2% of Democrats favoring schools having armed teachers.
“No shooting at a school is going to be stopped by gun control laws. They are going to be stopped by a variety of fairly simple on-site measures, including arming law-abiding citizens — in this case, specifically teachers — and empowering them to protect our children, schools, and communities,” COSA President Mark Meckler said.
“A majority of voters see this clearly, despite the relentless propaganda by people who want to confiscate the guns of law-abiding citizens.”
The greatest support for arming teachers came from adults aged 18-24, with 62% of this age group saying stopping teachers from having firearms in schools made school much more dangerous.
The poll surveyed 1,091 U.S. adults who are likely to vote in this November’s midterm elections. It was conducted between May 25-29 and held a 2.9 percentage point margin of error.
However, Democrats are relentless in their pursuit of gun confiscation and will stop at nothing until they achieve a disarmed populous. They won’t even enforce gun laws currently on the books today! Oh, no. This is about control, complete and total control.
How better to force the people into practicing the fascistic brand of religious progressivism than with a population unable to defend itself!
